Adrian and I returned Monday evening from visiting Mayari since Saturday. Unfortunately, Sophia was not present due to shady flight issues with Spirit Airlines.
He seemed to really take to her. He showed his concern with her by being quite diligent in checking up on her whenever he heard her cry and putting her Chupon back in her mouth whenever it fell out. He also would stand guard over Cibeles and Mayari during breastfeeding sessions. I think if he could, he would have climbed on Cibeles' lap to get a closer look. He also liked kissing her and would ask me to kiss her over and over again. Once, when she was crying while sitting near us and Cibeles came to get her, he even seemed to want to stop Cibeles from taking her away because he was concerned for Mayari. We explained to him however that Cibeles was Mayari's mama and would make Mayari feel better- he seemed to agree.
Back in Chicago, whenever he is eating strapped to his chair and we mention Mayari, he wants to get off to go upstairs to go find her since she was upstairs in her home most of the time we were there. He is too cute!
