One Year Old
So, one year ago I was at home wondering why nobody tells the utter discomfort of postpartum life. All that is just a hazy memory as I see a big boy where a little munchkin once waved his arms in helplessness at the bright light or hunger.
i don't think i can do justice to one year of memories, so the last 30 days will have to suffice:
Adrian had TWO birthday parties, one at his 11 month and the other shortly after this 12 month. Thanks to Luis and I- who are always doing more than we should, we took no pictures to document the intimate and fun gathering on 11/2/08. There were animal decorations, balloons, un-iced cupcakes, and tamales everywhere.
Adrian received gifts ranging from clothes to personalized piggy banks to a lap top that is probably faster than our home computer.
He now has one more tooth on the bottom right, is 30 inches tall, weighs about 23 lbs 10 oz and is a funny, dancing, trying-to-walk machine.
